WESSINGTON, BEADLE COUNTY, SOUTH DAKOTA, FRIDAY, FEB. 28, 1913. Vol. 5. No. 15 Alfred Sutton and Johnny Masterson were Wessington callers last Saturday.

Alfred Henry Sutton Was born February 26, 1886 in Carroll, Iowa To Ernest Charles Sutton and Fidella Mae Schoonover Alfred farmed near Wessington, South Dakota. He also worked for the United State Post Office. I am hoping to add more when I have more information.
Final Rites Held For Alfred Sutton Funeral Services for Alfred H. Sutton were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the first Presbyterian church. Loftus H Ward officiated interment was in the Wessington Cemetery. Mr. Sutton died Saturday evening at St. John's Hospital, Huron. Pallbearers were, Harry Kenyon, Ralph Clarke, Clark Bottum, Lee Munion, Gene Cox and Charles Miller. The Aaseth Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Sutton was born February 26, 1888 (wrong date) in Carroll, Iowa to Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Sutton. He came to a farm near Wessington, when he was 15 years old. On January 12, 1933 he married Marie Younkin and they farmed near Wessington until retiring 12 years ago. Surviving are his wife, four daughters and three sons. (I will not list the names on the internet as they are still living.) This was found in the Wessington Paper.
